IT'S YOUR CHOICE

Teens are infamous for making choices without considering the consequences.

It's Your Choice offers students the opportunity to practice making decisions in a fictional setting.

Each story features a teen faced with a problem. Like the Choose Your Own Adventure books, readers will select from two possible courses of action and grapple with the subsequent outcomes. Discussion guides and additional resources for students and adults are included.

IYC IS SUITABLE FOR:

  • Classroom lessons

  • Counseling sessions (group or individual)

  • Your school or public library collection

Our stories lead to lively discussions, and while no one approach fits every problem facing our youth today—our choice-based scenarios will help young people develop self awareness and confidence.

Isaac Newton noted that his scientific advancements were possible because he stood “on the shoulders of giants,” metaphorically referring to those great thinkers who had preceded him.

How much better could our world be if we could only see farther–know the consequences of our choices well before we have to face them?

Check out our free story, Dominic vs. the Research Paper.

Bonus: Sign up for our newsletter and we’ll send you a discussion guide for Dominic along with other classroom resources.

A CHOOSE YOUR OWN ENDING STORY

There are plenty of ways to cheat. I just have to find the right one. Or the right person I can charm into helping me. My girlfriend Deja? Marisol, the nerd? Artificial intelligence? Choices, choices.
I only know what I’m not going to do: write this pointless research paper.
